FatFreeCart - Free shopping cart for Google Checkout and PayPal

Fat Free Shopping Cart

FatFreeCart is the free shopping cart widget. It works inside your website, your blog and will even work from your MySpace page. It is simply a copy-paste cart and does not require you to register with us or install anything. It works with PayPal and Google Checkout. It supports product variations, shipping, handling and sales tax.

Now, I know, I know, this is a site about flash. Well I feel that it is important to expand beyond flash sometimes and let people know about cool new free tools like this. I have a lot of customers come to me that have a need for a simple way to take payment over the internet but do not have a tone of products to offer. This is a fast simple way to run a shopping cart on your site. It will make your site look a little more professional than the other guys.

If you are a web developer but you and you really have had nothing to do with shopping cart sites in the past this would be a great way to integrate this type of functionality into your site. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Chevy Silverado Give Away, Flash Animation

This was a fun project that I got to work on last week. All you guys should check it out. You could win a new Chevy Silverado!

On this project I did 99% of it animating with actionscript only. You guys should really check out the Fuse Kit for actionscript animation if you have not already.

Third Day Ad

This was a project that I got to work on with Echo Music. Basically the animation on the intro to the site and the animation on the main home page was done by me. As always check out more of my stuff via my web site. http://mswallace.com

The link to the actual web site is dead now. I guess the Holiday is over so the site is over till another Thanksgiving comes around.

Flash 8 “Gospel Music Channel / DIRECTV” eCard

gmc ecard

This was a great project that I got to work on for the Gospel Music
Channel in conjunction with DIRECTV. I was able to do three different
Flash animated cards showing the different styles of music that are
available. Really a fun project. Best part is I got to use some of the
new Flash 8 filters. Here are links to the three different cards. Even got to build in some flash video too.

Scott Riggan Flash 8 ecard

So here is my latest eCard that I designed in flash. Nothing really special but I think it turned out well. This was for a Christian Artiste - Scott Riggan.

I used Flash 8 as always. I guess the most complex part of this was the mp3 player, and it is not that big of a deal if you have been working in flash for a wile. It has your basic external XML file that loads the song information and also tells flash where to look for all the song files on the server. Enjoy!

Draw using Flash? It can be done!

As a guitar player myself I just had to pick Steve Vai as a subject matter. Everything you see was drawn using Flash 8 only. No graphics where imported from photoshop or any other program. This is the power you can harness when you learn how to illustrate in flash. When you click on the picture that takes you to the actual Flash file you should right click on it and zoom in and check out some of the detail.

I used a lot of the new filters and blend modes that come with Flash 8 on this one. Man it really lets you do a lot of really cool stuff. Wile you are at it compare my drawing with the home page of Vai.com. Let me know how I did. ;-)

Motorola Pebl or MP3 Player? My Flash Handy Work!

So here is a very cool little project that I did on not long ago. I got a new mobile phone called a Pebl. I liked the design and how simple it looked so much that I thought it would make a great MP3 player. Well this is the result. The Flash MP3 Pebl

All the song information is brought into the player using an external xml file and all the songs are loaded from a folder on the server as well. Pretty dang cool. Another thing that I did was use some of the new filters that come with Flash 8. All the glows and shadowing that you see on this Flash MP3 player are using some kind of Flash 8 filter. One of the really cool things that you can do with the filters is tween them as well. If you click around on this MP3 player a bit you will see what I mean. I hope you enjoy!
